Where the anchor drops

Hotel het Dok was built in 2026 and opened its doors on June 1, 2026. A new hotel, rooted in an area with a rich maritime history.

The name refers to the former dry dock for ships that once lay in the port of IJmuiden. A place where ships moored, were repaired, and set course again. That idea lives on in Hotel het Dok: a place to dock, recharge, and move on.

Brasserie het Dok

On the ground floor you will find Brasserie het Dok — the heart of the hotel. This is where guests come together for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or an after-drink. A meeting place where the atmosphere of the Harbour Quarter is tangible.
